Ancient therapy in modern times

We always knew we wanted to dedicate our business to changing the way spas treat their guest’s feet. Our holistic spa approach is much more than choosing clean products, aromatherapy and soft music. At some point most people suffer from foot pain and this can affect the entire structure of the body. Multiple factors can create dysfunction in our lower extremities. Injury from heavy use, poor footwear, disease, accidents, posture, weight gain, sport, diet or lifestyle can cause swelling, bone malformation, facia inflammation and even bone spurs or stress fractures. We have an estimated 7,500 nerve endings in your feet, so it is no wonder they can be painful and difficult to treat. Through Ayurveda techniques relief can sometimes come immediately to help sooth your ‘soles’.

Our owner, Dawn, learned the ancient Ayurveda Foot Ritual from her studies in India. She brought it back to Copper Well Retreat as an incredible and effective way to bring relief from many challenging conditions such as neuropathy, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, edema (swelling), achilles tendonitis, gout, rigidity and joint instability. Although this service is not intended to cure disease, it can be a wonderful compliment to medical treatments of guests struggling with pain management. Gentle and topical, pain relief can be provided without interrupting the digestive track with oral medications. This non-invasive, chemical- free, all natural service offers powerful healing, deep relaxation and is intended to support your wellness journey.
